It was pretty hard to leave this morning (mainly from the sheer lack of sleep), but I’m happily back with “family” in Tachikawa after a four year haietus. Here’s some initial food for thought, as I’m on my homestay family’s computer and I really don’t like doing that, it feels so rude:
There were delayes on three train lines. That means three people died today, by jumping in front of train.
That’s three lives, that statistically say aren’t going before the Throne for grace, but rather judgment. Where was their hope? Why did they give up? Who didn’t show them the love of Christ?
We didn’t. We wanted to be comfortable. We couldn’t dare take risks and loose face to tell them the truth. The Truth that they needed to hear. The only hope in this world:
Jesus Christ is risen.
