It’s not the stuff. Not the music, not the TV shows or movies, not the food or karaoke. It’s not even the city or the hillsides.
It’s the people.
That’s what I love. I love being with them, even if I can’t speak enough Japanese sometimes. And when I see them hurting, I just want to show them the hope that I have in Christ.
And those Pastors! Fuji-sensei and Ohno-sensei could come over here and give our churches a spiritual whoopin’! It makes me wonder who’s passionate about bringing the Gospel to the Americans? We need just as much help, and fellow American’s certainly aren’t listening to us when we tell them of the hope we have.
