There’s times of late, were it’s just too busy and overwhelming. It’s more than likely the State of The Economy to blame, but life has simply taken off. From managing a smaller team with a full load at work, to enjoying the company of C-, who now lives a mere 50 minutes away, to balancing English and Japanese church family, times have been tough. Financially, everything’s still alright. There’s a house over my head and food on the table, but time is now of the essence.

How do we make more time? For Lent, I decided to give more time by starting a good habit, instead of refraining from a “weight that so easily ensnares”. I took up the Professor Grant Horner Bible Reading Method, and it’s been great. But ten chapters of Scripture a day takes more time, so how do you balance things out? So far, I haven’t all that well. But it’s more important to me to get that extra time reading rather than some sleep here, or a few extra minutes before the start of the work day in the office.

And, I’ve gone ahead and scheduled my Microsoft SQL exam for this Saturday. It needs to to get done, and I need the time back after finishing that task. There’s two more tests to take after this, and I have more personal things with which to attend.

Let’s get to work!
